CLASSRoad will be at the STARTALK 10th Anniversary Fall Conference on October 14th and 15th, 2016, in Atlanta. The Fall Conference provides an opportunity for STARTALK grantees to reflect on 2016 programs, attend sessions developed for teaching critical languages, learn about resources that will enrich STARTALK programs, and network with other STARTALK colleagues. This past summer, CLASSRoad offered a fully online STARTALK course, Advancing TELL Online with Comprehensible Input, to teachers of Arabic, Chinese, and Persian language and culture. The course focused on STARTALK-Endorsed Principles and the Learning Tools domain of the TELL Project framework of the model world language teacher.
CLASSRoad, along with its STARTALK Infrastructure project LangCred, will be participating in the Program Expo, Product Showcase and Reception on Friday night and will be sharing new features on LangCred as well as the new LangCred Widget that programs can embed on their sites to provide easy access to LangCred information and services.
